Last Saturday, the largest theme water park in Thailand was opened on the resort island of Phuket Andamanda, which reflects Thai culture and mythology.
The new theme park is located in a busy area, the roads leading to the famous Patong Beach. On Saturday, the 4.5 billion baht (7.35 billion rubles) water park welcomed thousands of tourists for the first time, including 1,500 Phuket residents.
The huge Andamanda amusement park, occupying 9.8 hectares of land, was built in the style of Thai mythology and has 5 zones – Coral World (Coral World), The Pearl Palace (Pearl Palace), Emerald Forest (Emerald Forest), Great Andaman Bay (Great Andaman Bay) and Naga Jungle (Naga Jungle). It was clarified that 12 slides, a 10,000-square-meter wave pool and a 550-meter “lazy river” will provide tourists with the most exciting adventures. But the water park is more than a millet slide. According to the press service, there are entertainment venues, retail outlets, restaurants, a floating market and a 300-room Holiday Inn hotel. Andamanda's launch was spearheaded by one of Thailand's youngest female entrepreneurs and chief executive of the Proud Group. “I do not believe in what has already been done.
