Abu Dhabi hosts first-ever maritime heritage festival

The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced the launch of the first maritime heritage festival in the emirate's history. The event covers the diversity of elements of the maritime heritage of the region: the traditions of navigation, shipbuilding, fishing and pearling, which were formed due to the geographical features of the location of the UAE capital on the Persian Gulf.
