Aeroflot plans to resume flights to Thailand and the UAE this winter.
“Thailand appears in the winter schedule: sales in Phuket have already been launched, and we plan to open Bangkok in the near future. From October we plan to start flights to Dubai “, – RBC quotes the words of the airline's CEO Sergey Aleksandrovsky.
It is also reported that Aeroflot is considering launching flights from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada ( Egypt), Goa (India). In the winter schedule, the air carrier will continue to operate flights to the Maldives, Turkish Istanbul and Antalya. At the same time, flights to Turkey will be reduced due to a decrease in seasonal demand. Planes will not fly from Sochi to Bodrum and Dalaman, but flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Baku will open.
Sergey Alexandrovsky spoke about the company's plans to relocate part of the aircraft to the Far East, where it intends to develop domestic and international shipping.
