Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced that almost 6 billion rubles were returned to Russians as part of the tourist cashback program for buying trips to children's camps.
According to TASS with reference to the Deputy Prime Minister's statement, more than 420,000 tickets worth more than 13.7 billion rubles have been purchased so far. Sales started on March 31 and will last until the end of the summer of 2022. At the same time, the child can go to the camp from May 1. 7.5 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of the children's version of the program.
“The program to compensate half the cost of a ticket to a children's camp was included in the government's operational measures to support citizens and the economy, approved by Mikhail Mishustin. Today, on the eve of the summer holidays, we see that parents have taken care of organizing the rest of their children in advance,”, said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
