Contrary to sanctions: Aeroflot opens a new foreign destination – flight schedule and ticket prices announced

Despite sanctions: Aeroflot opens a new foreign destination - flight schedule and air ticket prices announced

The Russian national carrier, which had previously canceled all its flights to Europe, “turned its face” to Asia. According to the official website, from April Aeroflot opens, or rather, resumes regular flights to Tehran (Iran).

The information from the carrier is as follows: Aeroflot resumes regular flights to Tehran (Iran) from April 2 Airbus A321. Flights will operate twice a week according to the following schedule (local times):

  • SU512 Moscow (SVO-C) – Tehran 21:45 – 03:30 (Wednesdays)
  • < li>SU512 Moscow (SVO-C) – Tehran 22:40 – 04:25 (on Saturdays)

  • SU513 Tehran – Moscow (SVO-C) 04:50 – 07:40 (Thursdays)
  • SU513 Tehran – Moscow (SVO-C) 05:45 – 08:35 (Sundays)

It is possible to book and buy tickets on the airline's website. One-way ticket prices start from 19.4 thousand rubles; for return tickets – from 22 thousand rubles.

Note that the national carrier follows the trend and canceled part of the anti-COVID rules. In particular, masks on flights are no longer considered mandatory.

Recall that after the “air sanctions” that closed the skies over Europe for Russian carriers, since February 28, Russian space has been closed to European aircraft. Aeroflot, like other carriers, in particular Ural Airlines and S7, has canceled almost all foreign flights since the beginning of March – not only to Europe, but also to those countries where there is a risk of aircraft arrest. Similarly, most of the tour operator companies “planted” their flights.
