Egypt to launch low-cost flights to increase tourist flow from Russia

Egypt has announced the launch of low-cost flights to increase the flow of tourists from Russia and Ukraine.

“The meeting presented mechanisms for launching low-cost flights and a number of other incentives to increase the tourist flow from Russia and Ukraine, which declined due to the crisis,”, – RIA Novosti quotes the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Egypt Nader Saad.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, Minister of Tourism Khaled al-Anani and the head of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Muhammad Manar.

Airlines have already been instructed to provide flights with low cost tickets.

Also discussed during the meeting Xia commissioning of the Sphinx airport to the west of Cairo and work to expand the air harbors of Sharm el-Sheikh and the city of St. Catherine in the center of Sinai.
