On the morning of April 19, a fire engulfed the Scuba sin sightseeing yacht off the coast of the popular Egyptian resort town of Hurghada. There were 27 people on board, including foreign tourists. Frightened travelers were evacuated by the maritime security service and rescuers. There were no reports of whether there were Russians on board. It was specified that there were 19 on board foreign tourists of different nationalities and 8 crew members. 27 people managed to evacuate on boats to the port, then to hotels. There were no casualties among them.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire was visible from the Old Sheraton area and Marina Boulevard. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. The estimated cost of the burned yacht was 439 million rubles.
