“Russian tour operators will be able to start gradually implementing tours to Egyptian resorts,” Zarina Doguzova, head of Rostourism, reassured the Russian tourist industry and the tourists themselves. In her Telegram channel, the official reported on the results of telephone conversations “with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Mr. El-Enani” on the preparations for the launch of the tourist season.
The results are encouraging – and yet quite concrete. The minister assured the head of the Federal Tourism Agency that Egypt Air has resumed flights between Russia and Egypt since Friday. “The first Egypt Air flight from Cairo has already landed at Domodedovo. Until the end of April, it is also planned to launch flights from Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada to Moscow (preliminarily, 7 flights a week for each of the directions are being worked out),” Zarina Doguzova wrote.
Recall that direct flights on the route Cairo – Moscow – Cairo will be daily from April 9.
The schedule is as follows:
- Departure from Cairo in the morning at 9:30, arrival in Domodedovo – in the afternoon at 15:55 . Travel time will be 5 hours 25 minutes.
- Departure from Moscow in the afternoon at 16:55, arrival at Cairo airport at 21:25 in the evening. Travel time is about the same – 5 hours 30 minutes.
