Karamzin Day — the annual holiday, which is held in the Museum-estate “Ostafyevo” & ndash; “Russian Parnassus” since 2010. It was in Ostafyevo that Nikolai Mikhailovich Karamzin wrote 8 volumes of The History of the Russian State over the course of 12 years. Here he studied books, manuscripts, chronicles from the Moscow Archives of the College of Foreign Affairs, the Hermitage, the Academy of Sciences, Moscow University, private archives and collections, met with many famous historians and collectors.
The event will begin at the Round Meadow of the park at 12:00 with the concert “Next to Karamzin”. Before the guests of the estate will perform the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Russia. N.P. Osipova and soloist Daria Rubtsova, Anastasia Bolshakova (soprano) and Andrei Neganov (piano), Anna Ostalskaya (mezzo-soprano) and Sergei Stegailov. The concert program will be completed by the participant of the show “Battle of the Choirs” on TV channel Russia-1 — “Trinity Choir”.
The Main House of the estate will host the educational program “Moscow of Karamzin. Nemetskaya Sloboda”, lecture “Sources of the” History of the Russian State ” and curatorial tour of the exhibition “History of the Russian State” Nikolai Karamzin in documents. Group and thematic tours of the permanent exhibitions and the Cabinet of the Medal will also take place.
At the colonnade of the western gallery of the Main House, the intellectual game “What? Where? When?”, games for the development of memory and attention “Look look”; and “Dooble”, a master class in mental arithmetic, chess, logic puzzles, cognitive quizzes and nice prizes.
In the park of the estate during the whole time of the holiday it will be possible to pass the quiz “Karamzin. Life and Works» and take part in master classes from the workshop “Openwork Garden”. The park will also host interactive playgrounds and a craft fair.
At 15:00, the “Music Festival in Ostafyevo” will begin; to the 10th anniversary of the TiNAO and the 875th anniversary of the founding of the city of Moscow. Leading bands — laureates of festivals dedicated to the 10th anniversary of New Moscow, the Moscow Region and other regions of Russia. The program participants will perform well-known and new works about Moscow, show choreographic performances about the commonwealth of the peoples of Russia, multinational Moscow, confirming the motto of the festival “Together with Moscow from the past – into the future.

Museum-estate «Ostafyevo»—«Russian Parnassus» — a monument of noble culture on the territory of new Moscow.
