Malta from April 11 will simplify entry into the country for citizens of countries included in the “red list”, including Russians.

According to the innovation, in order to enter Malta, citizens from the “red list” countries will only need to present a negative PCR test result made no earlier than 72 hours and a completed PLF form. Thus, it will no longer be necessary to present a certificate of vaccination and undergo quarantine.

According to the Telegram channel @ranarod with reference to the Malta Tourism Authority, a certificate confirming the fact of recovery from COVID is also suitable for obtaining an entry permit -19 and valid no more than 180 days from the date of recovery. It is not yet known whether a certificate from the State Services is suitable or whether it is a EUDCC certificate.

It is specified that a Schengen visa is suitable for entry, but it will not be possible to get to Malta directly from Russia.
