What will be the next stage in the development of the tourism market – the answer to this question is on the agenda of the forum-exhibition LEISURE Leisure 2022. The event will be held in offline and online formats September 13–15 at the Expocentre exhibition complex in Moscow.
Yesterday, tourists actively used international online platforms that made it possible to quickly and effortlessly book hotels at the best price with a guaranteed level of service. But even today, only organized tourism can act as a guarantor of the safety and financial well-being of traveling citizens, especially to foreign countries. What sales tools will players in the Russian tourism and hospitality industry now use?
The Russian tourism market is experiencing a new shock and is undergoing another test of strength. At the same time, opportunities are opening up for the development of tourism in the most unusual corners of the country.
One of the main topics of the OTDYKH Leisure 2022 forum-exhibition will be the discussion of the survival strategy of tour operators and travel agencies. All three days of the exhibition there will be a case conference on sales, marketing and management of the tourism business in the new conditions.
RECREATION Leisure is held with the official support and participation of the World Tourism Organization, the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism), the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ATOR, PCT, RGA and other industry associations and associations.
RECREATION Leisure is the only exhibition in Russia of such a scale, which is held before the autumn-winter tourist season. It has been regularly held for 28 years and brings together more than 10,000 industry professionals. The presence of the first persons of both the federal and regional levels, a large number of top managers, negotiations and concluded contracts confirm the status of the forum-exhibition as the most important business platform.
Every year REST Leisure proves its relevance and demand among market players. So, during the pandemic, the organizers managed to collect on one site not only proposals from 23 foreign countries, but also tourist routes and destinations from 41 regions of Russia. The exhibition was personally attended by 83 tourism managers of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, tourism products from more than 300 companies were presented. Speakers and participants from Brazil, India and Japan, which were closed at that time, traveled to the event with transfers through Europe. Many countries, such as Azerbaijan and Egypt, were represented for the first time or after a long break.
