South Korea has simplified customs rules for tourists.
Now it will be easier for Russians to get into South Korea to South Korea
The website of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) has information that South Korean authorities have simplified customs rules for foreigners, including citizens of the Russian Federation.
Now the mandatory customs declaration has been cancelled. Thus, if a foreign tourist does not have goods subject to declaration when entering the country, he can go through the green corridor.
In addition, from July 2023, it will be possible to declare and pay for goods using QR- code in the mobile application “Customs declaration of the Republic of Kazakhstan for travelers”.
Also, all restrictions that were previously introduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic were lifted in the country. Now the seven-day quarantine for people with coronavirus has been replaced by a five-day one and is advisory in nature.
