Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed resuming the negotiation process on visa-free travel between Russia and India. He made the advising statement during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“We propose to intensify the negotiation process on an agreement on visa-free tourist trips,” Putin said, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the President of the Russian Federation, the rich culture of India is traditionally of great interest to Russians.
“We could also think about holding the Cross Years of Russia and India in 2024,” Vladimir Putin added.
