Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will create the Eurasian Alliance of mountain resorts

Memorandum on the establishment of the Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts between Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan was signed in Sochi.

Rosa Khutor (Russia), Shymbulak (Kazakhstan) and Amirsoy (Uzbekistan) have begun joint work on the creation of the Eurasian Mountain Resorts Alliance (EAHC).

It is planned that the members of the alliance will create a platform for strategic development domestic tourism in the Eurasian space, joint development of Eurasian mountain resorts, professional communication, promotion of the best practices and brands of mountain resorts – leaders in the industry, preservation and mutual promotion of the natural and cultural heritage of the participating countries.

Among the tasks are the following:

  • Contribute to the progressive development of mountain resorts through cooperation, exchange of necessary information and best practices;
  • Joint professional development of workers;
  • Development of common approaches to standards of safety and awareness of tourists;
  • Preservation of the natural and cultural heritage of the participating countries;
  • Promoting a healthy lifestyle;
  • Expanding the territory of friendship, good neighborliness, trust and mutual understanding in the Eurasian space.
