Russian authorities have promised tourists stuck in Egypt to get them out as soon as possible

At the same time, tour operators and the Egyptian side were asked to provide them with “comfortable conditions.” This was announced in her Telegram channel by the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova.

We are talking, in particular, about the passengers of the canceled flight 686 of Azur Air – i.e. about the tourists of Anex Tour. According to Doguzova, the flight was canceled due to further sanctions. Reportedly, the head of Rostourism received from tourists “complaints about the conditions of their emergency accommodation.”

“Now tour operators extend their stay for tourists at their own expense. All tourists who could not fly home on time will be accommodated in hotels and provided with everything necessary. For our part, we received a number of complaints from tourists about the conditions of accommodation and have already contacted tour operators with a request to provide tourists with comfortable and safe conditions before returning home,” Ms. Doguzova wrote in her telegram channel.

Tourists she urged “to stay in touch with tour operators and wait for news”. “Our colleagues from the Federal Air Transport Agency, together with the Egyptian aviation authorities, are working to ensure that the flight departs in the near future,” she said.
