Tutu.ru, an analytical center for the travel and travel service, found out what kind of transport travelers plan to use to get to their vacation destination this year. 2,596 people took part in the survey, which was held on the website of the service.

This year, 37% of respondents choose an airplane. In second place in popularity is the train, on which 29% of respondents will go on vacation. The train closes the top three popular modes of transport: it was chosen by 9% of survey participants.
Note that in 2020, 33% of travelers chose the plane, 17% chose the train, and about a quarter of respondents traveled by train to their vacation spot. Obviously, due to the coronavirus pandemic, many have given up long-distance travel and explored their native land, and now the share of long-distance trips has increased.
7% of respondents plan to travel by their own car to their vacation spot this year, two years ago there were 10% of such travelers. Another 1% choose car sharing or car pulling.
5% of respondents will travel by bus during their holidays. Bicycle as the main transport for their trip this year is also chosen by 5% of travelers, another 2% will go on a cruise.
Finally, 5% of Russians will combine several types of transport during their holidays.
