Hotels will be fully redeemed by October
Russians massively buying rooms in Sochi for the New Year
Sochi authorities reported that Russian tourists have already bought out 25% of the rooms in the hotels and inns of the city for the New Year.
This year, due to the conflict in Ukraine and Western sanctions, it is extremely difficult for Russians to leave Russia abroad. Therefore, compatriots strive to secure a New Year's holiday in the resorts of their native country in advance.
The Sochi authorities are fixing this trend and are trying to maintain a high level of tourist flow. Since the beginning of 2022, more than 5,200,000 vacationers have already arrived in the city. By the end of the year, another 2,000,000 of them will arrive, the city hall is sure.
They believe that hotel rooms for the New Year will be fully redeemed by October. Therefore, Russians are urged to hurry up if they want to meet 2023 at sea or in the mountains.
