Six regions of Russia signed an agreement on infrastructure development with the Tourism.RF Corporation. Cooperation will help increase the tourist flow by 2-3 times.
Among the regions that have decided on cooperation are the Astrakhan, Vologda, Murmansk and Nizhny Novgorod regions, Tyva Republic. This was reported by Interfax.
“The subjects are very attractive tourist regions, which this year received more than 7 million people. By signing an agreement with the Tourism.RF corporation, they open a new page of opportunities. According to calculations, cooperation will allow them to increase the tourist flow by 2-3 times. The President instructed us to speed up the creation of tourism infrastructure. Governors are at the forefront of this work. The state supports and will continue to support them,”, said the press service of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Subsidizing preferential loans for all projects under the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” will continue. In addition, the government has provided a number of additional support measures for the tourism industry.
