On April 21, the Grand Hotel Europe hosted a discussion session “Global megatrend: sustainable development as an incentive to increase the tourist attractiveness of the destination.” The Congress and Exhibition Bureau, subordinated to the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg, brought together representatives of the congress and exhibition sector, tourism and hospitality, as well as the academic community to discuss the integration of “green” standards and exchange best practices for the implementation of projects in the field of sustainable development. The discussion was held in an omnichannel format, and an online broadcast was organized.
