The Thai authorities have announced new rules for entering the country, which will take effect from June 1.
According to RIA Novosti, from June 1, vaccinated tourists, including Sputnik V, will not need to take tests. A Thailand Pass, a vaccination certificate and insurance covering $10,000 will be sufficient for entry.
As for unvaccinated tourists who did not have time to pass a PCR or rapid test before flying to Thailand, they will have the opportunity pass tests at the airport of arrival, thereby avoiding the need to undergo a five-day quarantine. They will also need a Thailand Pass and insurance to enter Thailand.
It is clarified that from June 1, the Thailand Pass will have to be issued faster, as the QR code will be generated automatically after application.
