The Black Sea was occupied by poisonous fish. Are they dangerous for tourists?

UN experts published a message according to which organisms are increasingly being found in the Mediterranean and Black Seas that have never lived there before.

We are talking about hundreds of species of alien fish, crabs , jellyfish, shrimp, bacteria and other marine inhabitants. Many of them disturb the biological balance and can completely exterminate vulnerable native species.

The reason for the appearance of strangers is merchant ships that carry ballast water. Scooping it up in the Indian or Pacific Ocean, along with the local flora and fauna, they dump it into the Mediterranean.

Thus, a giant oyster and a Pacific cockerel first appeared off the coast of Italy. In the Eastern Mediterranean (Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Israel), 6 alien poisonous fish (puffers, sea ruff) and new types of jellyfish appeared. Some of them are dangerous not only for other animals, but also for tourists.
