Mostourism took part in two international congresses — QBLT (The Qatar Business & Luxury Travel Congress) in Doha (Qatar) and MALT (The Meetings Arabia and Luxury Travel Congress) in Dubai (UAE). These are important platforms for building a dialogue with the target audiences of the countries of the Middle East. From the tourism industry of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain, more than 160 people took part. They got the opportunity to get to know Moscow as a leading destination for business and premium tourism.
As part of the business program of events, Moscow took part in two discussions: Luxury at its Best: Capturing the GCC High Net Worth Market (MALT) and Dive into Qatar's Lux Pool (QBLT), where the city's opportunities for a comfortable trip to the capital of tourists from the Middle East were presented. East. Representatives of Mostourism noted that Moscow is ready to satisfy the exacting taste of travelers from the Middle East. So, today the city has premium hotels, a large number of various restaurants, concierge services that can organize any form of leisure, a rich cultural agenda and many authentic places that are interesting to visit, including with the whole family. The possibilities of the capital are also extensive in terms of organizing business events (MICE tourism): large congress centers and business halls of hotels are waiting for business travelers. The Moscow side held more than 50 meetings with representatives of MICE organizations, luxury travel agencies, wedding planners and corporate clients in the region. The participants of the congresses noted the positive experience of staying in the city during the pandemic, the comfortable flight time, the availability of high-class hotels and restaurants, and the developed park infrastructure. All this, in their opinion, makes Moscow a desirable destination for travel and for business – the premium and business segment. In addition, they willingly shared with the Moscow delegation their recommendations for attracting tourists from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain.
