By the May holidays, Russian tourist programs to Turkey should be “gradually restored”. This was officially announced by tourism officials “represented” by the Federal Tourism Agency and the Ministry of Tourism of Turkey, respectively. Recall that at least two major tour operators have also already announced the restart of programs.
As the head of Rostourism, Zarina Doguzova, reported, the situation with air traffic between Russia and Turkey and the “supply” of tourists was discussed in detail with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. And the conclusions are generally optimistic: “We are working to create conditions for the upcoming tourist season, and during April, by the May holidays, we will gradually restore flight programs,” she wrote in her telegram channel.
Recall that at the moment “air-safe” – i.e. insured against sanctions and confiscation of aircraft – programs to Turkey were announced by two tour operators, Pegas Touristik and Biblio Globus.
As for Pegasus, the company announced three flight programs at once from all three airports in Moscow, on the wings of two carriers – Turkish Airlines and Pegas Fly. Pegas Fly will start from Sheremetyevo from 04/15/2022 and from Domodedovo from 04/28/2022. The flight program of a/k Turkish Airlines from Vnukovo from 04/15/2022 has been added to them. Transfer flights from 29 Russian cities will “join” this basic program. Promised, in addition, direct flights from St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Kazan. Also, the tour operator will offer programs on Turkish Airlines and other resorts – in particular, in Bodrum and Dalaman. “The flights are risk-free, they will be operated on Boeing 777-200 aircraft that are not leased from foreign companies and are included in the Russian register. There are three of them in the airline's fleet,” experts commented on the Pegas Fly program. The “risk-free” programs were also announced in the “Biblio Globe” – the restart of the tour operator's program was promised just the other day, on Saturday, April 9th. In a statement on the company's website, it is reported that the program starts “on the wings” of Red Wings on Boeing 777-200 liners – probably, as in the case of Egypt, we are talking about Russian-subordinated liners. According to the Turkish side, the tour operator offers more than 20 hotels only in the 4 * and 5 * segment – including such well-known ones as Rixos Premium Belek 5 *, Crystal Sunrise Queen Luxury Resort & Spa 5*, Nirvana Kozmopoliten 5* and others. On the start dates of the program, i.e. from April 9, prices for holidays for two start from 102 thousand for 3 *, and only with breakfast, accommodation in 4 * will cost 110 thousand, in 5 * – from 124 thousand.
