The Government of the Russian Federation has decided to allocate 100 billion rubles to Russian air carriers to compensate for the cost of flights to domestic destinations.

“The government continues to take measures to support air transport in the face of sanctions. The industry has faced serious restrictions and bans, including in terms of the supply of spare parts and aircraft maintenance. Today, on behalf of the president, the government will allocate 100 billion rubles to Russian airlines,”, TASS quotes Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin as saying.
