“I pay 14.50 euros every month (1' 330 rubles). By Greek standards, this is mere pennies. Everyone in my circle pays at least 20 euros (1,840 rubles),” said a Russian woman living in Greece. What is included in this amount and what other options are offered by mobile operators, she told on the Yandex.Zen channel.
In Greece, you can buy SIM cards from three operators: Cosmote, Vodafone and Wind. The first two are the largest and occupy a significant share of the Greek market. All three are of good quality, Internet speed and coverage. These operators offer tourists high-speed mobile Internet and other services.
The Russian woman spoke about the monthly communication costs using the Vodafone operator as an example, since she has been using it for more than two years. Expenses under this item occupy an insignificant part of the total expenses for a woman, not only because communication in Greece is inexpensive, but also because the Russian woman has a budget tariff – 14.5 euros, which is a little more than 1,300 rubles in ruble equivalent.

“To tell you the truth, I don't talk that much, let alone write 1,000 messages a month. But I wish there was more internet. Went down a month ago. Then I paid extra 7 euros (650 rubles),” she added.
The tariff turned out to be economical, Russian women I know pay for cellular communications from 20 euros, i.e. from 1’840 rubles. However, the budget tariff is quite enough if you use home Internet.
In addition, the author noted that in addition to cellular communications, Greek operators offer cable TV and landline telephones to their customers. Such a package will cost more.
If the client does not use communication services for some time, you will still have to pay for the downtime. So, a Russian woman was absent from the country for three months, but upon her return, the operator issued her an invoice.
