Turkey eased the rules for entering the country

Since June 1, relaxed entry rules have come into effect in Turkey.

Travelers no longer need to present PCR or antigen test results when entering Turkey. “A report of a negative PCR test with a negative result up to 72 hours before entry or a negative rapid antigen test carried out within a maximum of 48 hours from the moment of entry is not required”, RBC quotes a statement from the Turkish Interior Ministry .

It is clarified that before the innovation, in order to obtain permission to enter Turkey, Russians had to present a certificate in English with a negative result of PCR or a rapid test for antigens. In addition, it was possible to show a certificate from the State Services website about the transferred coronavirus or a certificate of vaccination with Sputnik V.

Also, the requirement to wear masks in public places will no longer apply. The rule will continue to work only in hospitals.
