Russia and Turkey have agreed to accept MIR cards in Turkish hotels.
According to TASS with reference to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, Russia and Turkey held talks during which making payments in Russian rubles or Turkish lira in Turkish hotels, as well as using MIR cards. Agreements were reached that conditions will be created for the availability of bank terminals in hotels to accept MIR cards.
The meeting also discussed an increase in the number of flights between the two countries. “Agreements were reached to increase the number of flights from both Turkish Airlines and our companies that will fly. And this will provide the necessary number of flights for the tourist flow,”, said Alexander Novak.
