Turkish Airlines canceled 100 flights scheduled for March 19 at Istanbul airports due to heavy snowfall.
Among the canceled flights, 80 were to take place to the new airport and 20 to the Sabiha Gokcen hub. “Due to bad weather conditions, 100 flights scheduled for March 19 to and from Istanbul were canceled, including 80 to the new airport and 20 to the Sabiha Gokcen hub”, RIA quotes Daily Sabah news.
The Mayor of Istanbul also recommends refraining from traveling by private transport and using public transport.
Previously, Turkish Airlines canceled flights scheduled for March 10 due to bad weather.
